What we collect
- Usage analytics — page views, the domains you check and the result, button clicks, and time spent on the page.
- Technical request data — your IP address, browser user-agent, request headers, cookies, referrer, and language. This data is retained.
- A first-party session cookie (
dld_sid) used to group your activity for analytics. - Email (only if you choose to give it) — if you ask us to alert you when a domain's deep links break, we store your email and the domain you asked us to watch.
Why we collect it
To operate and improve the tool, to understand how it's used and whether a monitoring service is worth building, and — only if you opted in — to email you about the domain you asked us to watch. We do not sell your data.
Cookies
We use a first-party session cookie and first-party analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The site shows a one-time cookie notice; continuing to use the site means you accept these cookies. If you'd rather not, please don't use the site.
Service providers
We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service: our hosting provider (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), and — if and when we send email — our email delivery provider (Resend).
Retention & your choices
At this stage we retain collected data indefinitely. Any email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To request access to or deletion of your data, email dpa@gancio.xyz and we'll handle it.
